Kerala travel guide

God’s Own Country

Kerala is India’s favourite slow holiday: rolling tea gardens in the Western Ghats, elephants and spice plantations around Periyar, palm-lined backwaters best seen from a private houseboat, and cliff-top beaches at Varkala and Kovalam.

Our Kerala tour packages follow the classic Kochi–Munnar–Thekkady–Alleppey route in 5 to 7 nights, with options to add Kumarakom, Varkala or an Ayurveda retreat. It is one of India’s best honeymoon destinations and a wonderful family holiday.

Kerala travel tips

  • Houseboats cruise in the day and anchor at night (about 5:30 PM to 8 AM) as per local rules.

  • Leeches are common on monsoon walks — wear socks or leech guards.
  • Most temples allow only Hindus inside and have a dress code.
  • Try appam with stew, Kerala parotta, karimeen fry and filter coffee.
